How was yesterday for you?
A bit restless feeling? That was the Moon meeting up with the North Node, Rahu
Sometimes, though, you just have to let go of the wheel, and show true faith; even if you don’t feel it or trust it. You have to suspend all disbelief as you know you ain’t got a clue how to get out of the spin you’re in.
If you’d like to observe how the movements of the stars influence and affect you, pay attention every day. Every day the Moon is moving into a new section of the sky, a new way of expressing.
If you don’t know where your Moon is placed in your natal chart, have no way to know how to follow the Moon’s progression through your chart, please feel free to refer to the post in which I taught how to bring up one’s natal chart on computer, and how to add the current positions of the transiting planets we call “the wanderers” , as they touch upon your placements, as they travel around the zodiac.
Here it is , from Nov. 4, 2023:
Please feel free to send any questions my way.
The Moon is sensitive, emotional, fickle and fluctuating; flexible; both absorbs and reflects energies, and is a public planet. Seen by all. One cannot hide one’s emotions, they emote, move out from oneself in waves, like the oceans that the Moon rules and moves. The Moon moves you, as it moves the oceans. Don’t think it doesn’t . It’s bigger than you. And what the Moon moves outward from within you will be felt by all. We all exist daily in an ocean of emotions emanated by all that lives and feels. And so we say the Moon creates the Mood. The mental and emotional weather of the day.
If you follow the influence of the Moon every day around your natal chart, you can learn how each of your placements works, and how each is affected by a visit from the Moon.
Not every planet favors the romantic and changeable moon. Saturn could care less how you are “feeling” about the dues that have come up for payment. Saturn is exalted in business matters, where it weighs the seeds against the crops and imposes strict balances for all, and could care less for fun or imagination. Saturn doesn’t think much of “promissory notes”. Saturn demands weight for weight.
Saturn is old, lame, eats spoiled food, and does not favor children. Saturn is the deposed king, our former “best sun”. There’s so much to unpack and look more closely at in these stories. Saturn’s sign of Capricorn is on the axis with the Moon’s sign of Cancer.
Always study the full axis. Always study the full axis. Both sides now. The whole truth. Wholeness, the way it is. Not split for applications of power. Whole.
The Moon is most unhappy in Capricorn, it produces a “hard” moon. People who seem to feel little in the way of emotions. Saturn favors work, structure, practicality and service. To this, the Moon sighs.
Saturn was originally the agricultural god/force/energy. And so, “what you reap you shall sow” was the first grounded version of this “karma” which has gone the way of all ideas. Needs a bit reigning in if you ask me.
Original Saturnian “karma” which referred to the planting and reaping, now refers to all action, and therefore , like the modern “clinic”, it’s field of description and definition has become an infinitely open-ended discourse.
Somewhat problematical, that.
More on this later. Power finds its tactics, and ways of “explaining” its agendas.
I’m a hard sell. I’d advise you to be one, also.
In the meanwhile, if you follow the Moon’s progress through your chart daily, and note how it affects your feelings, situations, and behaviors, and how it affects the “world” around you, you’ve got the best “in” to astrology that there is. This gives you the opportunity to incessantly relearn what kind of “growing opportunities” each mansion of the Moon provides, and how your natal chart is set up to use that.
Remember, the Moon is the growth factor of life here on earth. The waxing and waning of it all. Nothing in the ocean is not touched by the tides. Not even the deepest depths, because the watery Moon is in sympathy, elemental sympathy, with the watery sign of Pisces, which is of the deepest depths of consciousness, the ocean of consciousness. All the watery signs are emotional and constantly affected by the emotional moon. Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio.
And, ladies and gentlemen, there will be an extraordinary and intense focus of all planets upon the rashi/sign of Scorpio coming up soon in June. Along with all the other fireworks going on astrologically just now.
So pull up your charts, and you are welcome to send any questions my way. Whatever house…area of life activity….is in the sign of Scorpio in your chart, that’s where immense pressure and eventual changes will be initiated. All of the planets will be casting aspects upon Scorpio during the same period.
We’re going to keep up with that, make the most of it by sharing our experiences. The very, very best way to learn astrology is to get together once or twice a month with other learners, and see the wealth of all the different experiences and perspectives had by each one in the past month.
Again , dates to note and be aware of coming up are May 10th, when both the Sun and Moon will be in their signs of exaltation. A time to give, as the Sun and Moon give their best and most to us. All free, imagine that.
May 14th through May 22nd.
We need to prepare and be very aware of the energies of obsessive aggression and violence, anger and irrational striking out at friend and foe alike, when Rahu’s obsessive unconscious desires motivate all too impulsive Mars. Those of us who are strongly ruled by Mars’ energetic nature will find ourselves needing to reign ourselves in somewhat. To put it mildly. Yours truly knows, well.
It’s an excellent time to figure out how we are going to “deal” with this Megalomaniacal Military Mindset that’s never done this life, existence, or “world” any good whatever. It’s time to reconnect rahu’s obsessive unconscious desires to the reality of embodied life. War is not an idea. It’s a Practice of Horror. It doesn’t belong in this marvelous creation.
Time to end the Split, and allow the Creation it’s intrinsic wholeness.
Namaste, Laughing Waters
My next post will elucidate the affairs and activities of each house.
Then you’ll see how the passage of the Moon through your chart instigates activity in these various areas, day by day by day. The Moon is the mundane planet, everyday planet, which rules and influences our everyday, mundane affairs.
If you could learn the Monopoly game at ten, you can learn astrology too. It’s not as complex as they would like to make it. And then again, it is.
You either love living in the mystery, or it bugs you. Either way, here we are.
May as well enjoy the ride, which requires getting one’s hands on the controls a bit. Sometimes.
Sometimes, though, you just have to let go of the wheel, and show true faith;
even if you don’t feel it or trust it,
you have to suspend all disbelief, as you know you ain’t got a clue how to get out of the spin you’re in.
Do it. Give your angels a chance to step in show you what they’re hanging around for. You’ll be glad you did.
Humans are the funniest and strangest danged creatures on the planet. That’s why the other critters don’t need tv , folks. They got all the entertainment they’ll ever need with us around.
So for all you spiritually oriented humans, here’s to the awning of the cage of asparagus.
Perfect. Blessed Be.
Its like watching Prometheus run his homunculus show jumping competition... Hardly seems relevant yet it drags on with the same droll commentating in that BBC nasal tone... It is what it is... Change of Season always makes for the "Everything changes so that it remains the same."
